The Leadership Service Award is presented to whose exceptional contributions to community strengthens
and supports the values and the mission of the institution. It is presented to persons whose special
qualities and accomplishments merit community recognition.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the ICHEA administration office no later than April
30 of each year. You may submit the form online or download a word version of the form.
Selection Criteria for Leadership Service Award
Eligibility: A nominee is eligible to receive the Leadership Service Award if he/she has substantially
met the following criteria:
Nominee must be a person who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to the community through
leadership and service.
Nominee must be a person, who in deeds and actions, reflects and recognizes the importance of
his/her education through involvement with the community.
Nominee must have made exceptional contributions to the community that strengthens and support
the values and mission of the institution.
Each nominee must be able to accept the award in person at the ICHEA annual conference.
Members of the Alumni Association Executive Council are not eligible to receive the award
while serving on the council.
Early Achievement Award

The Early Achievement Award is granted to a nominee who's age 45 or younger, for significant
accomplishments in business or professional life, or for service to the ICHEA Alumni Association.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the ICHEA administration office no later than
April 30 of each year. You may submit the form online or download a word version of the form.
Selection Criteria for Early Achievement Award
Eligibility: A nominee is eligible to receive the Early Achievement Award if he/she has
substantially met the following criteria:
Nominee must be age 45 or younger as of nomination deadline date.
Nominee must have achieved a remarkable degree of prominence for someone of their age, through
professional achievements or service to the community.
Special consideration will be given to those who have demonstrated unusual initiative by starting an
innovative service project, business or some other original enterprise.
Nominee must be able to accept the award in person at the annual conference of ICHEA.
Members of the Alumni Association Executive Council are not eligible to receive the award while
serving on the council.
Distinguished Alumni Award

The Distinguished Alumni Award honors who have made significant contributions to society
and whose accomplishments and careers have brought credit to the institution.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted to the ICHEA administration office no later
than April 30 of each year. You may submit the form online or download a word version of the form.
Distinguished Alumni Award Selection Criteria
A nominee is eligible to receive the Distinguished Alumni Award if they have substantially met at
least two of the following criteria:
Nominee must be distinguished in his or her chosen business, profession or life work, and has
received some previous recognition from contemporaries.
Nominee must be a person who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to community service; or,
Nominee must be a person who, in deed and action, reflects and recognizes the importance of his or
her education through involvement within their local community.
Number of Awards
The association shall confer the Distinguished Alumni Award on one or more individual(s) in any one
year. The awards shall be conferred each year unless there are no qualified nominees.
